Country risks and project risks

E-mail Print PDF

With 30 years of experience in running development projects in countries of the South, GERES does everything it can to guarantee that the objectives of the program are well executed and to limit the risk that the project will fall through.
However, external events can arise that are beyond the control of GERES.

For example in Afghanistan, the actual political situation on the ground represents a country risk which is considerable.

GERES assumes this risk and commits itself, in case of major problems that would prevent the continuation of the project, to provide generated carbon credits that GERES sets aside (credits from the Cambodian project).
