Companies

Taking the effects of greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) on the climate into account is becoming a determinant of the strategies of companies with regard to the environment.  The first priority is to take action to reduce your GHG emissions at source.

A Solidarity Approach...

The CO2Solidaire initiative goes beyond the environmental dimension of carbon compensation.  As well as compensating your GHG emissions, you get involved with the NGO GERES - in supporting development projects in countries of the South.  These projects aim firstly at socio-economic benefits for the local population, enabling them to substantially improve their living conditions and to reduce their vulnerability when faced with the consequences of climate changes.

... and a Transparent Approach

Projects implemented in the field by the NGO GERES – Group for the Environment, Renewable Energy and Solidarity – a non-profit and independent association created under the 1901 Act.  Created in 1976, GERES implements long term development projects in the fields of the environment and energy, in Sub Saharan Africa, Maghreb and Asia.  Today, more than 200 associates work to reduce the poverty of populations in the South, offering energy solutions appropriate to the ground realities.

CO2Solidaire is the compensation scheme created by GERES.  There are no intermediaries and we guarantee monitoring and transparency on all the projects.
